US Sends F-22 Raptors To Romania

Russia has been flexing its muscles more and more these past couple of years. First, it invaded the Crimea and has now annexed it as part of Russia. Then they intervened in the fighting in the eastern part of the Ukraine, which led to the shooting down of a Malaysian passenger jet. Recently the Russian air force played a big part in helping President Assad gain ground in Syria. The US has now decided that a bigger deterrent is needed, and has sent 12 F-22’s to be based in Romania to help boost NATO defences in the area.
